Masoud Pezeshkian, in a phone conversation with Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, stated that these dual behaviors have created many problems for regional and global security, and it is expected that the Atomic Energy Agency, while respecting the rights of countries and avoiding dual behaviors, will also defend the rights of member states.
Pezeshkian referring to Macron's concerns about the cessation of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Atomic Energy Agency, criticized the Secretary-General of the Agency for providing incorrect reports regarding the nuclear case and for not condemning the attacks on our nuclear facilities, which is against all existing laws. He added that today, the Iranian government, the Parliament, and the people of Iran believe that the Secretary-General of the Agency has not acted impartially regarding our nuclear case, despite all the cooperation and interactions that have taken place, and this behavior is completely unacceptable to us.
The President emphasized that despite repeated assertions and multiple proofs of the lack of desire to develop nuclear weapons and the willingness to negotiate to resolve the ambiguities and claims raised about nuclear activities, during negotiations with the Americans, the Islamic Republic of Iran was attacked by the Zionist regime with the permission and support of this country.
He stated, "Unfortunately, this crime led to the martyrdom of a number of our compatriots, scientists, and military commanders, and it is even more regrettable that the self-proclaimed advocates of human rights and international law, have tried to justify inhumane and illegal actions of the Zionist regime and the United States.
